Friday, July 1, 2011, Grand Haven -- Grand Haven Board of Light & Power's Board officials conducted their annual performance evaluation of Annette Allen, General Manager at Thursday's special board meeting.
The electrical industry has been experiencing dramatic changes in recent years and the Board feels Allen has done an excellent job of ensuring the BLP is meeting those additional regulations and technological changes.
"The Board has shown its pleasure with Annette Allen, General Manager of the BLP with a very favorable rating for her performance in 2010-2011 fiscal year," stated Jack Smant, Board Chair.
Created in 1896 by Grand Haven residents, the Board of Light and Power produces and distributes electricity for approximately 13,500 customers in Grand Haven and the surrounding area.
