The Board of Light & Power offers a variety of services to respond to its commercial and industrial customer's needs. Most small to medium size customers will receive secondary service. For secondary service, the Board of Light & Power provides and maintains the transformation equipment for the service. For some medium and most large customers, primary service may be more appropriate. For primary service, the customer owns and maintains the transformation equipment. With that ownership, the customer qualifies for a lower rate.
